Jamie & Ann So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I remember her and your Dad when they had the store. They were so much fun even when us kids were bugging them. And your Dad teaching us the days of the week in some language, I don't remember what but I can still rhyme them off! Funny the things that stick in your mind. She will be missed.

We wish to send our sincere sympathy and condolences to all of the Jordan family.
Betty was a wonderful lady with an infectious smile that lit up the room !
We have known her a long time and watched her work hard for the church that she loved to attend. We know that she was in a lot of pain and is now resting in paradise ! Thank you Lord for Betty Jordan !

Sincere condolences to Betty's family, many of whom we got to know when we were her next-door neighbours on Meredith Street in Little Current back in the 1980s and '90s. She was the best neighbour we ever had, anywhere. The first day we moved in, we were expecting a new fridge to be delivered from Sudbury, only to discover the Brick only delivered to the Island one day a week, and it wasn't that day. With a young son who needed special soy milk that needed to be kept refrigerated, we knocked on Betty's door. She welcomed us with a big smile, and, as it turned out, she had an extra fridge in the entranceway that she offered to us to use until ours arrived. And many times that we'd go over to get something we needed, we'd find fresh baked goods with our name on them. We last saw Betty six years ago, when we were on the Island for our 35th wedding anniversary, when we worshipped with her at Grace Bible Church. Ross and Betty served on a number of church committees together; she was a hard worker full of good ideas. We mourn her passing, but are happy she has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour.
