Patricia Lynn Pheasant
“Beedahben”
February 1, 1990 to November 8, 2019

In loving memory of Patricia Lynn Pheasant of Wiikemkoong Unceded Territory and who resided in Sudbury, Ontario, passing into the spirit world on Friday November 8, 2019 at the age of 29 years.  Patricia is survived by her loving children Kierra and Renee.  Dear daughter of Deborah Pheasant of North Bay, Ontario.  She will be sadly missed by her sisters Marcia Manitowabi (Walter) of North Bay, Misty Assinewai of Sudbury, and her twin sister Tricia Pheasant of Sudbury.  Welcoming her into spirit world will be her late brother Marlon, her late sister Joy and her late Grandpa Rev. Isadore Pheasant.

Patricia was a very humble and loving honest soul and her intentions for everyone were pure and genuine.  She always went above and beyond for her friends and cared for and treated everyone as if they were family.  Not a single person passed through her life without having a reason to smile. A heart could not be any more giving and loving then hers and the world is a better place because of the lives she has touched.  Her love will live on and through everyone she knew.  Selfless and light hearted, loving and gentle, strong yet tender, in our hearts forever. If she had one word she could leave in our hearts, the word would be “believe”.  Believe in yourself, believe in your journey, believe that you are precious enough and believe you were created to be exactly who you are, believe that life is an evolving, growing and learning experience.

Patricia will be resting at the South Bay Centre, Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory  from Wednesday November 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will be held at the South Bay Centre on Thursday November 14,  2019 at 1:00 p.m.   Burial will follow at the South Bay Cemetery.

I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with Patricia. She was an amazing woman, who wanted to do well on her journey. It is with much sadness that I offer my deepest condolences. I wish I could have come to pay respect, but she is in my thoughts and prayers. She was such a pleasure to get to know and had a certain joy that was infectious to all around her. Her whole world was her girls, she often spoke proudly of them. She will be greatly missed.
Thinking of her family.

I extend my deepest condolences to Patricia's family and friends. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and I wish that I had more time to spend with her, but I honestly thought that we would have forever, a really long time. I will not forget her sweet, patient, and gentle approach that she had with my cousin that I brought for a visit, it showed me that I have a long way to go in this aspect. Her excitement when giving her daughter all of the thoughtful gifts she had gotten for her was very special to witness, one of the most beautiful things that I have seen.

I struggle with the thought that her girls will never get to know how lovely their mother is, that they will never get to notice, as adults, all of the things that they have in common. We will remind them, but the loss will always have an impact.

Wishing the Pheasant family, and all of Patricia's loved ones comfort in this time, she was, and always will be greatly loved.
