Don farmed for years at Lucan, moved to the Island continuing to farm.  He retired from farming, moved to town, and started to work at Tim's and Co.  Don kept busy with his small engine repair up until he moved to the Manor.  He will be remembered for his occasional tour around town on his Ford tractor, to keep it in good running order.  We will miss his friendly smile and always having time for a chat.

Paul

Your father was a wonderful friend to my Dad. My father thought of him as a great loyal farmer and friend. May you find many cherish moments in the many memories you must have of your father. Gail and I enjoyed every moment we had the chance to visit with your father at the Manor. He was always ready to shake our hands and get out of bed to attend the music on Thursdays. He will be missed by all of us who enjoyed those special moments with him at the Manor.
RIP Don.

Dear Paul:
My sincere sympathy to you and your sisters in the passing of your Dad. Knew both your parents and always enjoyed my visits with them. When Dad took up residency at the Manor it was always a pleasure to visit with him and he did love the music program. May now rest in peace. Linda Bowerman

What a wonderful man,,,always with the same grin. Many people he met never forgot him, I am sure. I remember him on the farm near Lucan, out doing chores, but no matter what, always had time to stop and visit, and that laugh would come out almost immediately. He'd crack his hand on his leg, and say "well say",,,what a good person. Love, Melody and George xx

Dear Janice and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I remember him from his days in Lucan and then many years later I drove my mom and dad (Don and Betty Revington) to Manitoulin to visit him. We had a wonderful time and he and dad went out for the evening to have a guys night out with some of the local folks. He showed us around the island and we enjoyed dinner together in a local restaurant where everybody knew your dad! And yes, he would often preface a story with "well say". A very nice man, always with a smile on his face. As you know my dad passed in June of 2017. Cherish your memories!
