Alexander “Popeye” Trudeau September 2nd, 1930-March 29th, 2017
A resident of Wikwemikong
Died peacefully at Wikwemikong Nursing Home,  on Wednesday, at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of Josephine Trudeau.
Survived by his sister Jane Pangowish,
and godchild John Pangowish.
Predeceased by parents Josephine (nee Recollet) and
Dominic “Biisinai”Trudeau,
brothers Ambrose( Edna), Isaac, Henry, Ralph
and sister Suzanne.
Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Popeye loved to play cards, he really loved it when a visitor would stopped by, “out came the cribbage board.” He loved horses, horseracing, bingo, and had a passion for hockey and baseball.
He will be greatly missed by all the staff at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, where he lived most of his life.  Popeye was an amazing and a very humble man.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Pop's. I was lucky to meet this incredible man while I worked at the Nursing Home. Wonderful person inside and out ! I know he will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Pop's !!
