Many years ago Karlene and Don lived on the Cooper Farm in Mindemoya.
Karlene taught figure skating in the arena. I remember her well: pretty, encouraging, tiny, standing for hours out on the cold ice wearing her Hudson Bay coat. It's a good memory for me.

Ah Auntie Karlene.. so many memories. I so enjoyed working with her at the Bank of Montreal when customers would come in and ask for Mrs. Cooper and there was three of us! :) Also, fond memories of being a 'fan in the stands' with her watching our Cooper Hawks. We will miss her dearly. Thinking of you in our thoughts and prayers Uncle Don, Kevin and Brent.

Karlene you were like a second Grandmother to me and Don you are like a Grandfather to me. You were the best neighbours at Stanley Park and we had so much fun together. Kar, you were always there for us when we needed you and you gave me some great tips when I had my first daughter Alexis.
Karlene cared so much about others especially her Grandchildren. She always talked so foundly of all of her Grandchildren.
Karlene, I sure will miss you and your great big hugs. I cherish the memories I have of you.
My deepest sympathy to Don (Father Goose) and your entire family.

Once time has a chanced to heal our hearts these memories are the most cherished gift we have of our love ones. How we were blessed to have visited with you a few short weeks ago. God brought us back together again after nearly 30 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Don, Kevin, Brent, and the grandkids. May God bless you and give you peace in the midst of your sorrow and grief. We grew to love Karlene and all of you in the short time that we lived on the island. While she is now rejoicing with her Saviour in heaven she will live on in the lives of all the people that she has touched in so many ways.

Thank you to all who have posted on this website, came to the visitation and/or funeral. For all the cards, and phone calls expressing well wishes and condolences. It is comforting to know so many family and friends care so much.
We all have fond memories from over the years, and as we all move forward from here let us take comfort in knowing that our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend is in the glorious Presence of the God she loves. May you all take some measure of comfort, joy and peace in this knowledge as we do.
Blessing to you all and thank you. Kevin, Pam, Kyle and Emily Cooper
