Wendy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
Cherished daughter of Malcolm ba and Connie Pitawanakwat.
Precious sister of Shauna, Rachel (Todd), Mark and Lisa (Patrick).
Adored Auntie to Nicole (Duke), Brian, Ross ba, Roman (Vanessa), Roland (Beedahbin), Geordan (Suzie), Donavon, Owen, Ben, Zoey, Lena
and many great-nephews & nieces.
Beloved niece of Rosemary, Agnes, Joyce, Gloria, Julian, Tina, Grace, and Donnie.
Survived by many cousins.
God-child to Valentine ba and Mary Agnes Recollet.
Wendy Poohster brought joy and love to her family and everyone she met. She loved spending time in the sugarbush and her family camp at Wendy's Cove. She enjoyed teasing her family by taking their glasses and jewelry. She loved family birthday celebrations, especially her favourite song "Happy Birthday".
Special thank you to Wendy's long-time friend Linda Trudeau for her love and companionship and to the many family members who took pride in caring for Wendy since returning home to Rabbit Island.
The Family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for all the supports and care for Wendy throughout the years. Miigwech to the PSWs, Respite Care Providers, Nursing Home staff, Dr. Barss, Dr. Cooper, and Dr. MacKeracher. Also a big thank you to Wikwemikong Community Living for their support.

Funeral services
will be held at Holy Cross Mission
on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 1:00pm.
Father Paul Robinson S.J. officiating.
Internment will be at the Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery.
