It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Wendell Dylan Jonathan Bondy on Thursday, October 20, 2022

at the age of 31 years.

Beloved son of Janet (nee Roy)

and Glen Bondy. 

Dear brother of Giles (predeceased) and Rosealee Bondy,

both of Wikwemikong

and Caitlin Slipperjack of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.

   Proud father to little miss Tattianna Ocean Sky Bondy (Amber Legarde). Special friend to Elyse Marie Galloro.

Dear uncle to Sage, Shaun and Sierra Slipperjack.

Dear godson of Percy Simon and Jeanette Bondy.  Grandson of Beatrice Bondy

and David Bondy (predeceased),

Rosemary (Mishibinijima) and John Roy

(Both predeceased).

Also lovingly remembered by many

aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In his younger years he enjoyed playing sports; wrestling, hockey, soccer and loved the outdoors and

spending time with family & friends.

Wendell successfully graduated with his OSSD and was thriving to continue on with his schooling. 

Despite hardships and what life threw at him, he has always kept an open mind and heart and kept his head up to do better and be better not just for himself but his family.  Wendell was strong and always had positive thoughts.  He had a good sense of humour

and was also mischievous. 

Special Miigwech goes to the Wikwemikong Justice Program for all their guidance

and support for Wendell and family.

Wake services will be held

at Buzwah, St. Ignatius Church

On Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4pm.

Funeral mass will be held on

Wednesday, October 26, 2022

at 11:00am at St. Ignatius Church

interment will be at Buzwah Cemetery
