Wayne passed away in Wikwemikong on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the age of 64.

Loving son of Leonard and Stella Flamand (nee Baibomcowai).

Father of Darren and Andrew and several others.

Brother of David (Kim predeceased), Diane, Mark (predeceased), Betty, Julie (predeceased), Rosemary, Bruce and Clara (predeceased).

Will be remembered by his special son Dustin Wemigwans and special friend Joey Wemigwans.

Wayne was a jack of all trades who loved to help out whoever he could. He loved picking sweet grass and playing cards. He was a kind, caring and respectful man with a good sense of humour which could make anyone laugh. He was always a good spirit and willing to do anything.

He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends as well as special nephews Jason and David.

at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah
on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:00pm.
Funeral Mass
on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11am.
With Father Paul Robson officiating.
Cremation to follow.
