In Loving Memory of
Vivian (Viv) Rusk,
who passed away on August 3rd, 2022.
Viv was a dear wife to husband; Richard (Rick) Rusk (predeceased);
daughter of James and Isabelle (predeceased).
Viv spent 51 amazing and adventurous years of marriage with her husband.
Throughout her years she would become a waitress, a mother, a curler, an avid baseball player, a manager, a resort owner, a Ringette coach, a world-wide traveller, a grandmother, an entrepreneur; and a woman who would help you to change work habits and inspire ideas and would want you to always do your best in all areas of life. Although a stoic and stern business woman at times, she was first and foremost, a loving woman who genuinely cared about people. No matter how you entered her life, she never forgot your name or your face.
Vivian was mother to Kerry-Ann (Mark).
She was a loving Grandmother to Schuyler (Terryn)*, Jacqueline, & Victoria (Beau);
and Great Grandmother to Parker, Owen & Lauren.
Viv will be missed by her surviving siblings Mona (Denis), David (Alice), Linda (Dan), Lucy (Serge), Garry (Geraldine) and Donna (Jon);
along with many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rusk will also be remembered as the leader of the Manitoulin Region Red Hat Society and was also named the winner of Best Chili, in her community of Kagawong. She loved to participate in community events and enjoyed the place she called home, Manitoulin. Vivian will be remembered fondly by many as: family, a friend and a boss.
