Veronica passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home
at the age of 68.
Dear daughter of Julia Wemigwans (nee Osawabine) and William Wemigwans (both predeceased)
Loving common law partner of Wendell Kitchikake (predeceased)
Loving mother of son Conrad Wemigwans (predeceased)
Proud grandma and of Krystal and Kyle Taylor.
Beloved sister of
Sylvester Osawabine (predeceased),
Gracie Wemigwans (predeceased),
Vincent Lavallee (predeceased)(Elizabeth),
Joe Lavallee (predeceased)(Rossina),
Taddeus Lavallee (Bonnie)(predceased),
Mary Lavallee (predeceased),
Rose Beaupre (Ron)(predeceased),
Wilfred Wemigwans (Evelyn)
Tom Wemigwans (Liz)
and Henry Wemigwans (Corrine).
Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, her nursing home family and beloved pet, Puppy.
Veronica was a very outgoing funny lady who could always put a smile on your face. She was a lover of food and she enjoyed every bite to the fullest even if others didn’t. She was a member of the Amikook Seniors Centre and a talented crafter, she enjoyed spending her time making dream catchers, sweet grass turtles, tee pees and canoes and quilting.
