Tony will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Born in Lucera, Italy to the late Nicola Rosato and the late Nicoletta Rosato (nee Confalone), the family immigrated to Toronto, Ontario when he was 6 years old. In his teens, Tony apprenticed as an auto mechanic and spent the next 50 plus years of his life working and helping people. He moved to Sudbury in his 20's where he ran a Fiat dealership. He later opened Import Auto and finished his career at KIA motors.
At 53, he finally found his soulmate in his wife, Linda, and they built a beautiful life together. In 2025, he was able to fulfill his dream of returning to Italy and was looking forward to his next trip.
While still working, he was giving back to his community by helping Linda, run the TLC Home for Seniors in Little Current.
Tony's heart was always to help people. In his retirement, he was anxious to get his garage built so he could continue that service.
Tony kept his priorities straight. He loved his Lord and proved it in his selfless love and service to others. His children and grandchildren were his world and he would stop at nothing to show his love for them.
As summed up by his stepson, Allen,
He was a kind, gentle man. He was soft spoken, but always willing to go elbows deep to help anyone. His love for others shone brightly. A man with many skills, and a work ethic to be proud of... He will be missed by many. Papa to some, Nonno to others, his kids and grandkids will forever cherish him in their hearts. He is now in the loving presence of his Saviour, free of the ailments and burdens he carried in this life.
