It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sylvia Lovelace announces her passing at her home in Little Current on Sunday, September 21, 2025 after her courageous battle with cancer.

Sylvia will be deeply missed by all.

Predeceased by her husband Bruce Lovelace.

She leaves behind her daughters
Brenda, Sharon (Ernie) and Joan,

five grandaughters

and one great granddaughter.

Sylvia is also survived by her sister Rosalie Michelon

and predeceased by her brothers
Lindo DeMonte and Zelinda Perrault.

She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was born to John and Maria DeMonte (nee Benaldo). 

Sylvia loved being a Lionette and working at her family Motel, The Little Current Motel. She loved to travel, fishing, hunting and working as a bookkeeper where she mastered her writing skills.

Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held
at the Little Current Legion Branch 177
on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 12:00pm.
