Shirley passed suddenly at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Tuesday, July 27 at the age of 72. 

Wife of Lorne Abotosaway (predeceased). 

Lovingly remembered by daughter 
Carolyn Madahbee (Cecil Madahbee), 
grandson Michael Abotosaway (Billie Abotosaway) 
and special great granddaughter 
Michaela Abotosaway. 

Cherished grandmother of 
Lauren Abotosaway (longtime friend Shaun Assinewai), Carrie Madahbee and Shannon Madahbee. 
Great grandmother of 
Tierra and Gavin Abotosaway 
and Samuel and Shaelynn Assinewai. 

Proud daughter of 
Samuel and Teresa Esquimaux (both predeceased). 

Will be missed by sisters 
Dolores Esquimaux (Vernon Foster), Lisa Esquimaux, Bernice Esquimaux (predeceased),
 Nancy Esquimaux (predeceased), 
Patricia Esquimaux (predeceased), 
Joyce Esquimaux (predeceased), 
and brothers Sandy Esquimaux 
and  Samuel James Esquimaux (predeceased).

 A gentle and kind spirit, she will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Family and friends gathered at  
Island Funeral Home on July 29, 2021.
Cremation followed.
