It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden loss of Shawn of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory.

Survived by his Parents
Gertrude Eshkawkogan and Gilbert Sidney Wemigwans (Kim),

Grandparents
Marie Jacko (predeceased),
Clement Eshkawkogan (predeceased) (Dorothy),
Leona and Francis Wemigwans (both predeceased).

He will be greatly missed by his children
Xavier and Serenity Eshkawkogan
and Iris-Lynn Manitowabi.

Siblings
Marie Ann (Elliott) and Vickie Enosse
and Chris and Paige (Jon) Cooper. 

Also lovingly remember by his godchildren
Bionka and Sage Eshkawkogan. 

Missed by his aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews
and many cousins.

Special Brother Cory Jacko.

Shawn loved spending time with his family, taking his children on adventures with his nephew. His childhood was spent playing outside with his cousins at grandma Marie's house and at great grandma Victoria beach, in the maple bush. He enjoyed Indian baseball, Pokémon, marbles at the park and biking around town. Shawn played for the Wiikwemikong Hawks as a right wing and defense. He was passionate, enthusiastic, hardworking, and self-motivated. 
Shawn was a carpenter by trade and he worked for Wiikwemkoong Housing for many years. He will be remembered by his fellow co-workers.
