October 13, 1949 - August 7, 2023
Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the age of 73 after a long illness.
Beloved father of Stuart (Janel) Charlton.
Grandfather of Freya, Grant and Annika.
Ex-husband and lifelong friend of Christine Charlton.
Predeceased by parents Nellie "Bernice" (nee Mills) and Vernon Charlton.
Brother of Helen (predeceased) (Dale) Burley, Carol (predeceased) (Doug) Heis, Shirley (predeceased) Charlton and Judy (Norm predeceased) Marsden.
Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ryan was a proud Manitoulin Islander, a talented multi-instrument musician, a passionate wood worker, an excellent photographer, a skilled mechanic and a computer technology enthusiast dating back to the 70's. He was a spiritual man and believed deeply in Jesus. He will be missed by his community that he was very much a part of over his life.
Family and friends will gather
at Island Funeral Home
on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 11am until 1pm.
Funeral Service will follow at 1pm.
Cremation to follow.
