Robin passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the age of 49.

She was the dearly beloved partner of Julian Manitowabi.
Loving mother of her pride and joy Brayden Walker.
Survived by Brayden’s dad Jeff Walker.

Robin was the daughter of Gerald Ense baa, Debbie Ense, Karen Peltier (George Commandant).

She was the granddaughter of Beatrice Ense baa,
Harold Ense baa, Grandma Dynamite "Anita" Peltier
and Tom Peltier baa.
She leaves behind her siblings Darryl Ense,
Whitney (Morgan) McGraw and Floyd (Ashley) Ense.
She was the goddaughter of Ken Ense baa and Abby Ense.
She will be forever missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from M'Chigeeng,
Wiikwemkoong and Chicago.

Robbie-Bobbie loved and was loved by all who knew her.
She was very outgoing, sociable and loved talking to everybody with a great sense of humour. Robin was always kind, caring and had a gentle heart. She loved helping and doing what she could for whoever needed it. She loved her siblings, cousins, aunties, uncles, friends and family with all of her heart. Her partner Julian was her rock. He stayed by her side through thick and thin. Her pride and joy was her son Brayden. She loved taking him to his football games and wrestling matches. Robin shared her son’s accomplishments, academic achievements and milestones with everyone she met. She beamed with pride with
the man he was becoming. 
Robin was very talented and loved figure skating. Robin was crowned Miss Manitoulin 1993, she will always be our families beauty queen. She loved the outdoors, having fires and was lucky at the casino and Bingo. She had a particular fondness for her cat Witch. She worked with her Uncle Ron as a waitress for Abby's Catering and was known to work in her Miss Manitoulin dress a time or two. Robin walked seamlessly with her traditional knowledge and with the Catholic church. She received her sacred bundle and loved learning about ceremonies and helping out with drumming wherever she was needed. She also loved helping out at the church with readings and music.

at the Saswaahns Spiritual Centre
on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 10am.
Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church
on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11am. Cremation to follow.
