Repha Mildred Justine VanHorne (nee Dearing)
February 21, 1926 - February 4, 2023

Repha passed away peacefully at the Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the age of 96.

Born to the late Milton and Emma (nee Tustian) Dearing in Billings Twp. on February 21, 1926.

She is predeceased by the love of her life Varley VanHorne.

Loving mother of
Diane Melville and Perry (Linda) VanHorne.

Cherished grandma of
Cathy (Steve) Marshall,
Chris VanHorne
and Derek (Hollie) VanHorne.

Proud great grandma of
Ryan, Andrew (partner Paola), Sarah (partner Cam), Elizabeth, Colby, Cohen and Reese.

Repha was the last survivor of her siblings
Irene (Albert) Sheppard,
Leta (Clarence) Taylor,
Dorothy (Harry) Crozier,
Merle (Charlie) Gibson,
Geraldine (Dave) Bould
and Clifford.

Repha will be missed by many nieces, nephews and so many friends.

A devoted mother, grandmother and "Aunt Repha" to many. She loved spending time with family and friends.  An active member in the Missionary Church, she taught Sunday School, sang in the Church Choir and played guitar in the Orchestra. Repha loved working with her flowers, collecting stamps, crafting jewelry, playing games and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Wednesday, February 8, 2023
from 6pm until 8:30pm.
Funeral Service
Thursday, February 9, at 2pm
with Pastor Josh Wilhelm officiating.
Burial
to follow in the Mindemoya Cemetery in the Spring.
