better known as “Big Ray”
October 8, 1954 - October 10, 2023 

Big Ray passed away peacefully at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the age of 69.

Beloved husband of Dorothy,
dedicated and loving father of Melissa (Jay), Ryan (Becky), Neil (predeceased), Lizzie and Amber (predeceased).
Loving grandfather to Ella, Lily, Emma, Thomas, Liam, Jesse and Amber.

Brother to Randy (predeceased) and Bill (Marilyn).
Special Uncle of Bev and Heather.

Ray will be missed by many friends and extended family.

Ray was an active and proud member of the Masonic Lodge for many years.  

He was a humble man who loved his family. He enjoyed hunting trips with friends and family and spent the last few years hunting with his granddaughters in the Slash.   

Big Ray will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him because of his kind heart and wonderful sense of humour.  

Family and friends are invited to the Island Funeral Home on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm for a celebration of Ray’s life.
