July 11, 1929 - June 9, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Pearl Velma Lewis (nee Campbell) announces her passing on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, at the Manitoulin Health Centre at the age of 96.
Daughter of the late George and Ethel Campbell and loving wife of the late James Ronald Lewis.
Mother of
Carey Lewis (predeceased) (Debbie),
Brian Lewis (predeceased),
Cathy Morden (Lorn),
Graham Lewis (Joanne)
and Murray Lewis (Melissa).
Cherished grandmother to
Jeremy Lewis, Alaina Wilson,
Christopher Morden, Elliott Lewis,
Suzie Lewis, Michael Lewis,
Braeden Lewis
and great grandson Connor Lewis.
She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at the Manitoulin Health Center for the care, kindness and support they provided during this difficult time.
The family would also like to thank Betty Lou Quackenbush for the care and friendship she provided to our mom.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be a service held
on Saturday, June 20th, 2026,
at the Island Funeral Home in Little Current.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by service at 2:00 p.m.
with interment at Elm View Cemetery in Sheguiandah.
Luncheon to follow at the Sheguiandah Seniors Hall.
