Michelle began her Spirit Journey surrounded by her daughter and granddaughter at their home in Toronto, Ontario.

Dearly beloved daughter of Beverly Peltier
and Conrad McGregor.  Loving mother of Francine and Ethan-baa.  Beloved grandmother of Maizy. 
Loving sister of Darrell.

She was a proud auntie of Vincent, Vanessa, Dylan, Emilee-Ann and Delia; and great auntie of Keiran.
Cherished Niece of Louise (Brian), Andrew (Christine),
Jerry (Penny), Virginia Edna, Shirley (Ted), Mary Ann, Touboy, Pamela (Rick), Melvin (Carol), Danette (Murray Jr.), Allan, David, Celina, Julia (Phillip).
Michelle also leaves behind her fur friend Scout.

She will be greeted by her grandparents, Delia
and David Peltier and Charlotte and Eli McGregor; Aunts and uncles Hilda, Linda, Darlene, Debbie, Wayne, Chuck,
Frank, Louise Hasey and Jean. 
Michelle grew up in Toronto with her mother and father.
She enjoyed visiting her grandparents in Wiikwemkoong where she would spend her time swimming at Oma's beach.  

She was very adventurous as a child which continued throughout her lifetime. Michelle received a Diploma from Cambrian College and a Bachelor of Arts Indigenous Social work from Laurentian University.  She spent most of her career working with at risk indigenous youth in Toronto.  She enjoyed cooking, singing, drumming, dancing, fishing, traveling, making crafts and spending time with her family.
Michelle was known to be very resilient and resourceful throughout her life.  She will always be remembered for her unique voice and unique laugh that would fill a room.  She had a kind heart where she was always willing to help those in need.  She was a Social Butterfly and had the ability to make friends wherever she went – this made her very memorable
in any community she was in. She will be missed by many cousins, extended family and friends.

Michelle will be resting at Buzwah Church in Wiikwemkoong starting on Thursday, July 25, 2024
A private family visitation will be held from 11am to 12:30pm.  Friends may then gather starting at 12:30pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024
starting at 3:00pm.
