He started his Grand Entry to the spirit world on
May 29, 2026. He spent 71 winters with us.

Terron Cywink, Cedar-Eve Peters
and Zachary Cywink-Baa. 
Loving brother to Elaine Cywink Everall, Valerie (Harv) Bedassigae-Pheasant, Nick Cywink, Frank Cywink, and Patricia Cywink Pitawanakwat-Baa. 

Special brother to Conrad Oliver. 
Dear son of Nick Bedassigae Cywink and 
Eva Pheasant Cywink.
Grandson of John & Nancy Pheasant (nee Shigwadja) and Samuel & Agatha Cywink (nee Bedassigae). 
Miigwech also to Amy Hughes, Pamela Peters and Patricia Cunningham for sharing time on his journey.

Longtime partner to Jennifer Eadie.
He will be missed by his grandchildren
Scarlet Eve Cywink and Raine Cywink.
Miizhén has gifted us an unforgettable legacy to remember him by. He was an incredible artist and mentor,
and his artwork lives all across Turtle Island. 

He worked in many communities mentoring the youth, inspiring them with his teachings and colours. 
His stories, laughter, and art will remain with all who knew him. 
Michael will be missed by all the art communities he was a part of.
Cy was an incredible 'Guy' and will be missed by his many family and friends.

Visitation starts Monday June 1st, 2026 at the
Birch Island Community Centre. 
Immediate family will greet him at 3pm and all other family and friends are welcome to visit after 6pm. 
Traditional ceremonies will be held for him on
Tuesday, June 2nd at 7pm.
Funeral and final feast will be on Wednesday June 3rd, 2026 at 11am.
Cremation to follow.
