Melissa was a creative woman, an avid beader and jewelry maker with her business Bear Hand Creations. With her love of poetry, she wrote some poems of her own. An adventurer at heart, she loved camping and taking road trips with her family. When her illness became more prominent in her daily life, she created a journal on Facebook titled “Chronicles of Deep Within My Soul”. With this Journaling, she was straightforward about her ailments and her followers would send words of faith and encouragement. They were inspired by Melissa’s strength and courage as she faced her debilitating illness and losing her lower limbs.
Melissa will be missed by many nieces, nephews, her soul-sister Tayou and many friends.
