It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn Robitaille (nee Niganiwina) on Friday, February 27th, 2026, at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home at the age of 81.
Marilyn will be missed dearly by her children
Cheryl Laundrie,
Roger Laundrie Jr.,
Tammy Laundrie (Patrick Moore)
and Shawn Laundrie (Kim Laundrie nee Migwanebi).
She was deeply loved by her grandchildren
Garrett Mann,
Kalan Mann,
Courtney Jacko (nee Laundrie) (Lee Jacko),
Natasha Laundrie
and Kaylee Laundrie.
Proud great grandma of
Nico Jacko, Deacon Jacko,
Haisley Jacko, Caleb Mathias-Laundrie.
She was born to
Adam and Sophie Niganiwina (nee Morningstar) (both predeceased).
Marilyn joins her siblings
Martha White (nee Boyer predeceased),
Harvey Niganiwina (predeceased)
and is cherished in memory by
her brother Mike Niganiwina (Patricia).
Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will gather
at Island Funeral Home in Little Current
on Tuesday, March 3, 2026
from 3pm to 4pm
Funeral Service will follow at 4pm
with Father Toni officiating.
Cremation to take place.
