Passed away at the Mindemoya Hospital.
Mother of Marina Ashawasega (Justin) of North Bay,
Cecil of Sudbury, Wayne (Darlene) of Wikwemikong
and Lloyd (predeceased).
Special grandmother of
Loretta (Aaron) Nootchtai of Atikameksheng.
Godmother of Jeanette Migwans of M'Chigeeng.
Will be forever loved by her many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren and her great great grandchildren.
Lucy had the greatest fortune of being able to see her fifth generation.
Survived by her siblings Bobby, Tony and Elaine of Wikwemikong and Marilyn of Sioux Lookout.
Predeceased by her parents Elie and Cecile Takwadjiwan and her siblings Lyda Mishibinijima, Jerome and Ronnie.
Lucy will be forever cherished by many
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lucy worked as a medical driver for the Wiky Health Centre for many years. She enjoyed making native crafts and spent many hours making things out of birch bark and sweet grass. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting, sewing and flower gardening. Lucy loved to fish. She enjoyed prayer meetings with her prayer group. She loved playing prize Bingo. Lucy was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and loved to watch
her grandson Gabes play in the Lil NHL.
