Doreen passed at the
Manitoulin Health Centre surrounded
by family and friends.
Dear daughter of William Trudeau
and Helen (Anderson) Trudeau-ba.
Doreen is a cherished sister to Evelyn, Stella,
Catherine “Chi Mar”, Jerome-ba, Jarvis-ba,
Theresa “Toochmal”, Howard “Small Boy”,
Carol “Oonch”, Alan-ba,
Marion “Seent” and Bernice.
Beloved mother of
Roger Peltier-ba (Clara Francis-ba),
Doris Peltier (Stitch) and Annette
Peltier-Flamand (Scott).
Caring grandmother to
Jessica, Kaylene, Ryan, Sarah, Jeffrey, Jason,
Jacob, Trinity, Danielle, Alexandria, Emileo, Abbie,
Hannah and Matthew-ba. Great Grandmother to
Marie, Alexei, Mikhail, Pavel, Serena, Onyx, and
Connor “Conchobar”.
Doreen will be remembered for her kind,
compassionate soul and her straightforward
honesty. Throughout her life she worked in the
social services field. She was most compassionate
with our youth, who held a special place in her
heart. Later in life she enjoyed travelling to casinos
with her sisters. She also worked for the community
Justice Department and enjoyed teaching our
Anishinaabemowin language to others.
She will be missed by her many beloved nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation and Sacred Fire
will be at Buzwah Church,
on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 6pm
to November 28, 2024.
Funeral Services will be
on November 28, 2024 at 11am
at the Holy Cross Mission Church.
Interment at Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery
