Lillian Sarah Kanasawe, born on April 16, 1966, began her journey to the Spirit World on June 15, 2024, at the age of 58, after bravely fighting stomach cancer and its resulting complications.
Beloved daughter of
Levi-baa and Ursula-baa (nee Roy) Kanasawe.
Reunited with her children Miranda-baa and Tiffany-baa.
Loving mother to Dallas, Courtney, Patrina and Deborah.
Grandmother to Darcy, Jade, Amiyah, Tryton, Justice, Ronnie, Aidan, Lilly, Aiyana, Miranda and Everleigh.
Great Grandmother to Claire.
Reunited with her Brother Joe-baa
and her Sister Debbie-baa.
Loving sister to Donna (Danny), Eleanor, Bernice and Robert (Brenda)
Lillian leaves behind her loving Godchildren

Lillian will be greatly missed by her Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Lillian's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She loved taking care of her family, and she particularly enjoyed cooking. She was known for her exceptional cooking skills and her big-hearted approach to planning celebrations for her kids and grandkids. Lillian also found joy in her work at Freshmart, where she shared many laughter-filled moments with her co-workers.
Family and friends will gather at St. Ignatius Church.
