John Edwin Alfred Skippen

In Loving Memory of
John Edwin Alfred Skippen

of Green Bay died on July 19, 2024 at Manitoulin Health Centre at the age of 89.

He was born on February 18,1935 to Ross and Isabell Skippen.

He married Rae Moggy on October 12, 1956
and they had one child Paul.

John was a kind, honest man who loved his family and anything with speed, the faster the better. He was proud of his farm and enjoyed caring for his animals. John was an accomplished musician. His family band played many gatherings all over Manitoulin Island.

John is survived by his wife Rae
and his son Paul (Nancy McFarlane).  
Grandchildren Madison Skippen,
Courtney (Kevin) Pellerin, Holly (Jon) Valad
and Preston Pellerin (predeceased)
Great grandchildren Seth Pellerin, Miley, Brooklyn and Jack Valad.

There will be a private family service
at the Island Funeral Home
with internment at Cold Springs.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Little Current United Church.
