September 11, 1972 - August 8, 2025

John died peacefully at his home in Wikwemikong on Friday, August 8, 2025 at the age of 52. He is the son of the late Grace and Francis Pangowish. He is the beloved brother of Rose (Ricky predeceased), Rachael (Kimball), June and Sharon (Wayne). Godfather of Corey and Aidan. Cherished uncle of Tanya (Kyle), Corey, Keesha (Ross), Kallaghan, Harley, Meeshen, Matthew (Michelle), Robin and Jarrett (Allysa). John is survived by many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

John enjoyed watching cable especially the Toronto Maple Leaf Games. He loved riding his bike in the community. He was an avid player of games including cribbage, pokeno and croquet. But above all he loved having family gatherings at the homestead where he also enjoyed landscaping and keeping the place looking good. Family and friends will gather Visitation at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah on Friday, August 14, 2025 from 10am. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Mission on Saturday, August 15, 2025 at 11am. With cremation to follow.
