Loving husband of
Gladys Peltier-baa.
Father to Dan (Carolyn), Bonnie Jo (Chris),
Jon-baa and Ryan (Carissa).
Grandfather to Alyssa, Summer, Rayne, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Jorgia, Lilly, Jasmine, Christopher, Kevin, Hannah, Lynnaya, Kailynn and Kaiden.
Great-grandfather to Irena, Kali, Kingston, Robina, Nova-Lee, Nakoah, Saylor, MJ (Mary-Jean) and Atlas.
Siblings Raymond (Yvonne), Laura-baa, Linda (Lorne-baa), Olive (Terry-baa), Eva, Zaben (Lloyd), Tillie (Max-baa), Violet (Ronnie), Tommie and Ronnie.
Will be sadly missed by many nieces,
nephews, family and friends.
God-father to Ronnie Jackson, Lana Trudeau,
Deanna Peltier
and Julian Shigwadja-baa.
Special nephew of Ronnie and Gail Animikwaan. Special friends Walter Mishibinijima,
Ben Kanasawe and Edward Fox.
As a young man Johnny travelled for work down south to the US of A and Northern Ontario. He played baseball during the summers and hockey in the winter months. In later years he moved home and worked with the Wikwemikong Housing Department as a laborer to crew boss. Johnny enjoyed playing bingo, watching sports and his sudoku puzzles. He kept his pow-wow travels going that he started with his wife, Gladys. He became the Doogaaning Eagle Staff Carrier at the pow wows he attended after
the passing of his wife.
Family and friends will gather
at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni
Visitation
Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 12:00pm
Funeral Mass
Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 1:00pm
with burial at South Bay Cemetery to follow.
