Obituary
Joel journeyed to the Spirt World
on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023,
in his home community of Whitefish River.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalyn
and his children Sinjin, Silken, Sierra, Raidyn Daylyn,
and fur babies Jax, Puma, and Atlas.
Cherished Papa to Cordelia and Paisley.
Dear son of Shirley McGregor Baa
and Joseph Naponse Baa.
Son in law to Lillian Pitawanakwat Baa
and Lloyd McGregor (wife Anna).
Beloved brother to Robert Naponse Baa, Joseph Jr. “Ti-Joe” Naponse of St. Catherines,
Donald “Donnie” Naponse Baa,
Barbara Naponse Baa,
Francis Naponse Baa (wife Gladys) of Atikameksheng. Beloved brother-in-law to Cara,
Alison (husband Billy), Bryan, and Nicholas.
Joel will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and Godchildren.
Joel was a hardworking, kind man who
was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He liked to laugh and joke around.
He took great pride in watching
and coaching children, especially his own.
He enjoyed watching sports, fishing, listening to music, watching TikTok's, and lighting off fireworks.
Friends and family may gather
at the Whitefish River Community Centre in Birch Island on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 4:00pm
Service to be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00am with cremation to follow.
