Ilda passed away peacefully at the Centennial Manor
on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the age 90.

Beloved wife of Giovanni Fraulin.

Loving mother of Manuela (Garry) Elliott.

Cherished grandmother of Shawn (Karen) Laidley and Paul Laidley.

Proud great grandmother of Anna Laidley.

Ilda arrived in Canada from Italy
with her daughter on December 19, 1955.
She worked at St. Joseph’s General Hospital
and the Manitoulin Health Centre
as a dietary aid for 37 years.

She belonged to the
St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Women’s group.
Ilda will be fondly remembered by many friends.

She cherished her grandsons and great granddaughter.

Family and friends will gather
at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church
Visitation
on Wednesday, May 31, 2023
from 10am to 11am.
Funeral Mass
will follow at 11am
with Father George Gardner officiating.
Burial
in the St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be 
made in Ildas memory to the 
Manitoulin Cenntenial Manor 
or St. Bernard’s Church.
