Ambrose passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday May 5, 2022 at the age of 72.
Beloved husband of Bonita Recollet (nee Fox).
Cherished father of Carrie (Mike) (predeceased),
Terri (Bon) and Jeremy.
Doting grandpa of
LaTonya, Raven, Jacob, Mkoos, Thunder, Melanie, Marcus, Dorral, Brody, A.J. and Angie.
Special great grandpa of Christina, Layla, Maliah, and Isaiah, Ramiro and Lleyton Tait, 
and twins who are on their way.
Brother of Randy, Daniel, Rebecca, Julianne,
Sharon (predeceased) and Ronnie.

Son of Henry Recollet and Violet Rivers
(both predeceased).
 Will also be missed by his teasing friend Sherry Jerome, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends both in Walpole First Nation and Wikwemikong.
Ambrose was a native teacher on Walpole Island for the past 3 years, where he was a mentor to many and was always willing to help guide individuals in any way he could. He loved to travel anywhere anytime. He had a love of the bush where he would work for many hours at a time. He was also a great mechanic and 
could fix almost anything.
Friends and family will gather

Traditional Service will held be on 
Thursday May 12, 2022 at 11:00 am
