George passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 90.
Son of the late Albert George Newman and Harriet Elvina Newman (nee Scott).
Predeceased by siblings Ruth Rolton, Gwen (Fred) Olizarvich, Marjorie (Stan) Jones, Duncan Newman, Neil (Donna) Newman and Mike Newman.
Survived by siblings Dave (Sharen) Newman, Roger (Noreen) Newman, Marilyn (Dave) Holcombe, Pat Newman and Theresa (Dave) McDowell.
Father of three boys Terry, Glen and Brian (Tracey) Newman all of Alberta.
Grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 15 and great great grandfather of 1.
George loved travelling, skiing, woodworking and discovering the mountains. A true business man with a plan and always a good story to tell.
Cremation will take place and he will later be laid to rest in his hometown of London, Ontario, along with his mom, dad, sister and brothers.
