Eva Doreen Stevens
April 1, 1949 – April 8, 2025
76 Years Old

Eva Stevens nee Debassige (76) of M'Chigeeng First Nation, entered the Spirit World Tuesday, April 8th.
She was born on April 1st  1949, in Mindemoya, Ontario.
She married her "Honey" Art Stevens on July 19, 1976, and they had three children: Daina, Laura, and Shaun.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Art Stevens; parents, Elizabeth and Angus Debassige 
(both pre-deceased);
brothers and sisters: Alex, Alfred, Ralph, Hazel Clara, Rosemary, Lorna, Linda, Clara, Donny
and her fur-babies, Dusty and Misty.
She is survived by her three children: Daina Stevens (spouse, Marvin Mountain Horse), Laura Suthers (husband, Adam Suthers), and Shaun Stevens (wife, Susan Muir); grandchildren Emma and Spencer Suthers; sister Elsie Debassige, and brother Ronnie Debassige. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

at Saswaanhs Centre, 73 Tikmeg RD, M’Chigeeng
on Thursday, April 10th, 2025
at 1:00pm
Traditional Services
on Thursday April 10th from 6:00-8:00 pm,
and Friday April 11th, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Funeral Mass
on Saturday April 12th at 11:00 am,
Eva will then be laid to rest next to her "Honey"
at M'Chigeeng First Nation Cemetery.
Feast will follow at Saswaanhs Centre for 1:30 pm.
