Emerick was a welder by trade whom constructed the Skydome in Toronto. When he moved back to Dooganing he helped community with his skills. He loved his home: sitting by the bay watching ducks, taking nature walks, enjoying the view from the window while listening to 94.1 The Moose and playing Solitaire. Emerick and his younger sister had a special bond. They would help each other in anyways possible. He was fond of his visits with his nephew Philip (predeceased) and daughter. He often went fishing either with Peter 'PNS' Shigwadjia or Derick (predeceased). Dooganing was his home. Emerick would lend a hand preparing the Pow Wow grounds and was proudly crowned "King" for a year. His jokes contained a silliness everyone adored that will be treasured forever in our memories and our hearts.
