Dominic Francis Bebonang
April 11, 1944 - January 26, 2025

Dominic passed away peacefully at his home in M'Chigeeng on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the age of 80.

Beloved son of Abel Bebonang and Louise Bebonang (Waagoosh) (both predeceased).

Survived by sisters Catherine Baunach (Charlie predeceased), Jeanette, Veronica, Agnes and Nephew Duncan (Darlene).

Predeceased by siblings Simon, Peter, Charles John, Leo Bruno, Cecile, Reta
and niece Susan.

Mistylee Grosbeck (Kacy and Graclynn)
and son Aaron Grosbeck (predeceased) (Isabella, Robin and Rozie), Darlene Grosbeck (friend).

Dominic was a kind and caring brother, father, uncle, great uncle, grandfather and great Papa.

During his younger years he worked for KVP in Sudbury and later moved to Toronto where he spent most of his life working as a window washer for numerous sky scrapers, including the CN Tower. Dominic came home to help with the care of his mom and shortly afterwards, began operating Hats for Hides and was employed by M'Chigeeng First Nation for many years. He was a collector and was always working on his, around-the-house projects. He enjoyed spending most of his time outside and travelling the back roads of Mnidoo Mnising.

Uncle Dominic will be graciously remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins. He will definitely be missed by members of the community.

on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025
from 1:00pm - 7:00pm 
with a prayer service from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.
Cremation to follow.
