In Loving Memory of
Dianne Marie Debassige
Singing Eagle Woman
Sunrise: July 8, 1971 - Sunset: September 25, 2025
Dianne, affectionately known as "Mouse" to her aunts, uncles and cousins, was an important piece of the world who lived a life of love, creativity, community and compassion.
Her vibrant spirit first shone brightly on stage and screen. A gifted actress in her younger years, she starred in various films, plays and television series. She also held the role of healer and advocate. After completing her bachelor's degree in Indigenous Social Work, Dianne dedicated herself to supporting others in various social work roles.
Over and above that, Dianne found her greatest joy and role in spending time with her beautiful family. Whether camping with her husband in their trailer, showering her grandbaby with love, or laughing with her beloved family and friends.
