Who passed away suddenly at her residence in Hamilton, Ontario on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the age of 58.
Debbie was born in Little Current Ontario, and grew up in Wiky.
She went to First Nation Aviation School in Tyendinega Ontario, and Debbie received her private pilot license to fly aircraft’s such as the
172 Cessna float plane.
Then she moved to Hamilton and studied the personal support worker program and was employed as a PSW until she was hit by a car walking as a pedestrian, then no longer able to go back to work.
Debbie will forever be in the hearts of her siblings,
Archie (Joan) (predeceased), Carol,
Jacob (Somporn), Timothy (predeceased),
Arlene (Macario), Linda (Bookah) (predeceased),
Alvin (predeceased), Wayne,
James (Christine), and Melissa (Edward) (predeceased).
She will be reuniting with her daughter, Jessica, who unfortunately passed away in October 17, 2025.
Predeceased by her parents
Eli and Grace (nee Trudeau) Pitawanakwat.
Friends and family will gather
at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni
Visitation
Thursday, April 9 2026 from 6pm
Funeral mass
Saturday, April 11th 2026 starting at 11am.
Burial to follow in Kaboni cemetery
