Celebrating the Life of
Curtis Corbiere
June 9, 1989 – February 14, 2026
From his first breath on June 9, 1989, Curtis made sure the world was a little brighter, a bit louder, and definitely filled with love.
Though he left us all too soon on February 14, 2026, he managed to pack enough adventure, laughter, and celebration into his years to last several lifetimes.
Curtis was the kind of family man who could do it all—a successful business, two busy daughters, and still have room for a hug for Megan, his devoted wife and partner in everything.
Hailey and Peyton will forever benefit from the incredible example of fatherhood and devotion to family Curtis demonstrated during his remarkably full life.
Predeceased by his loving parents, Eric and Vicky-Lynn Corbiere, Curtis carried their legacy with equal parts pride and humour.
Cherished as a son-in-law by Dean and Shirley Moss.
Supportive grandson to Ben and Eunice Wilson, and Leonard and Irene Corbiere (predeceased).
Brother to Cheyanne, Cora, Aaron (Britney) and Tyler.
Curtis will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews: Ella, Jayden, Logan, Eric, Ben, and Julia.
Friends knew Curtis as loyal to a fault—if you needed a shoulder, a laugh or late-night help with no questions asked, Curtis was your first call. He was always quick to offer support, whether it was a listening ear, a witty comeback, or an unsolicited piece of hunting advice.
His presence made every family gathering feel like a festival.
Recently, Curtis reconnected with his childhood passion for horse pulling. In typical Curtis fashion, he jumped in with both feet, with Megan and the girls by his side—training and cheering on their team.
Together, they built the family farm and spent the summer travelling across Ontario and Quebec for competitions that introduced them to new networks of friends across North America and some incredible opportunities as a family.
Business ran in Curtis’s veins; he inherited his father and grandfather’s entrepreneurial spirit and turned hard work into success.
He built on the family legacy, growing the business and giving back generously to the M’Chigeeng community.
Curtis’s life was a masterclass in love, loyalty, and living every moment to the fullest.
He leaves behind a family that will forever miss his wit and warmth, a circle of friends who will always swap stories of “that time with Curtis,” and a community made better because he was part of it.
He’d want us to live big and love big and remember him with a smile.
