Rita passed away peacefully at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Daughter of the late
Jacob and Sara Bondy (nee Shawana).

Predeceased by her siblings Jeremy Jenimy Bondy, Michael Bondy, David Bondy, Narcisse (Mkoonhs), Mary and Nelly (Kwe) and survived by her sister
Theresa Cormack and her brother Theodore Bondy.

Loving mother of Eugene (predeceased), Sally,
Elaine (Pat predeceased), Robert (predeceased), Adolphus, Donald, Rose (Frank), May (Pete) Goulais, Deborah Recollet, Faye, Charlene, Bruno (Bernadette)
and reunited with her rainbow baby.

Cherished Grandma of 20 grandkids.
Devoted Great Grandma of 16 great grandkids.
Proud Great Great Grandma of 6 great great grandkids.

Will be reunited with her special uncle Angus Pontiac.

Rita was a cool mall grandma who loved to visit Value Village and collect knick knacks. She loved when people would visit so she  could share stories of the old days. She loved all of her family and will be missed by all.

Her favourite quotes were "Have kids every year." and "Be nice to your teachers. They want to help you be your best."
