It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of 
Christine McGillis McKinnon Hunter
of Assiginack Township on October 31st, 2023, at the age of 65 years.

She was an amazing mother, aunt, sister and friend, who was always there when we needed her. 
 
Loving mother of Jason. 
Beloved daughter to
Christina and James Hunter. 
Sister of James & John. 
Aunt to Neil & Andrew.
 
Christine was a beautiful, strong, kind-hearted, loving woman who always found joy in life, regardless of her circumstances.

She loved the simple things in life and enjoyed the peacefulness of the Island.

She loved reading, animals, coffee, watching wrestling and going
on adventures with her sisters.

Christine's pride and joy was her son Jason Talbot, she was so proud of his accomplishments and
the man that he had become.

Her beautiful smile and bold personality
will be greatly missed amongst
her friends, family and community.
