It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Christine Ann Phyllis Esquimaux on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Christine was born on April 7, 1978, the beloved daughter of Chris Aguonie and Penny Esquimaux (predeceased),
and the cherished special daughter of Larry and Liz Esquimaux (both predeceased).

Christine's greatest joy and pride in life was being a devoted mother to Darnell and a loving "mom" to her special children Deatin and Dawn.

She shared a beautiful life alongside her special friend Brian,

and was a caring godmother to Adrian.

She also loved her cats and dog very much.

She will be forever remembered as a loving sister to Matt, Candace, Leroy, Subrina, David, Joanne, Tammy, Sally, Moon, Jennifer, Tanya, Isaiah, Jennifer and Danny (predeceased) and as a special sister to Little John and Jesse.

Christine was also a devoted auntie and great-auntie to many nieces and nephews, each of whom she held close to her heart.

Christine dedicated 25 years as a Personal Support Worker, caring deeply for her residents at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, local group homes and through fostering children. She was also an entrepreneur, proudly running Crusty's Pizza and Darnell's Variety, where she shared her generosity, hard work and passion with her community.

Her adventurous spirit shone through in her love of traveling-from Florida and New York to across British Columbia-always seeking new experiences and memories. Christine embraced life fully, enjoying hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, outdoor cooking, board games, dice, outdoor games, bird bingo, pow wows, concerts, and of course, bingo.

Christine was spiritual and carried a strong connection to her traditions and community. She especially took pride in preparing and delivering healthy meals to her family and friends, always showing love through her cooking.

Above all, Christine was a devoted daughter, sister, auntie, cousin and friend. She loved her family deeply and would do anything for them. Her caring heart, generous spirit and unforgettable laugh will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

She leaves behind countless cherished memories and a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
