In Loving Memory of Alfred (Fred) Crawford
January 6, 1963 - October 17, 2023
On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 17, 2023,
Alfred (Fred) began his peaceful journey to the
Spirit World at his place of residence in his 60th year.
Fred was one of nine children of
Ivan and Helen Crawford (Debassige), both predeceased.
Fred is the father of
Shawn Carriere (Jessica), Amanda Noble (Wade),
Troy Crawford, Brandy Crawford, Cody Crawford (Taylor)
and is the step-father of Chantelle Barnes (Barry).
Fred is also the grandfather of
Brooklyn, Kalvin, Scarlett, Greyson, Lilly,
Brinley, Kash, and Logan
Fred is the God Father of Kayla Bourque, predeceased.
Fred grew up with a large family of six brothers and two sisters:
Glen (predeceased), Joseph (predeceased),
Jeffrey (predeceased), Ronald Pat, Edward (predeceased), Darlene, Adam (Meredith), Gayle (Mike).
Fred will be remembered fondly by
many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Fred will be fondly missed by Sherry Eadie.
Fred will always be remembered for his generous, kind heart - he would do anything for anybody.
Fred was always a hard worker and maintained hard labour jobs throughout his life. Fred enjoyed working on vehicles - rebuilding, fixing,
body work, anything at all. Fred will also be remembered for his great sense of humour.
Laughter was a great healing tool for Fred, as he would do his best to find humour in any situation and was able to laugh at himself openly.
Fred also enjoyed being a bit of a jokester, which would keep others on their toes! Most importantly, Fred was a friend to many. He was regarded as a protector and a provider that ensured that his family was his priority. Fred had a tough exterior at times, however, was the softest inside.
