Who passed away peacefully surrounded by family and his beloved Bear at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Beloved husband of the late June Pitawanakwat (nee Esquimaux).
Beloved son of the late Moses and Margaret Pitawanakwat.
Loving father of Danette Restoule (Art) and master of his dog Bear and cat Titi.
Stepfather to Cynthia Esquimaux Wesley.
Survived by brother Ed and honourary sister Barbara.
Predeceased by Sylvester, Ignatius, John, Elizabeth, Angus, Edgar I, Edgar II, Andre, Genevieve, Susan, Lillian, Ken, and Jonas Francis .
Albert will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, friends and community members.

Albert loved operating heavy equipment, helping others, being on the land fishing, hunting and working at the sugar bush as well as sharing stories.
 

Resting at his residence on January 26, 2024 for private viewing for family.
Followed by visitation starting at the Whitefish River Community Centre on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 4pm.
Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel's Lalement Catholic Church on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11am.
Burial to follow in the Whitefish River First Nation Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wikwemikong Nursing Home.
