Albert passed away peacefully 
at the Wikwemikong Nursing home 
on Saturday, November 5th, 2022. 

Loving son of 
Joe Laford and Lucy (nee Migwans). 

Brother of 
Joe (Elizabeth), John (Cecile), Linda (Wally), 
Francine (Bill), Duffy (Carlos), Shirley (predeceased), Irvin (Mona), Grant (Jean) and Pollock.

Beloved father to 
Mark (Saya), Abby (Randy), Raymond, 
Winona (predeceased), Star and Albert Jr. 

Adored Grampa to 
Johnny (predeceased), Mathew, Tia (Trey), Zack, Trinity, Tessa, Raven, Justice, Marcus, Lexus, Jayden, Malcolm, Kyle, Angela and Katrina. 

The best Big Grampa to 
Marcus, Silas, Jonny and Amiyah. 

Albert will also be missed by countless nieces, 
nephews, cousins and friends. 
Albert loved life. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and his grandkids were his pride and joy. 
Albert also loved animals, he had many pets and loved their company. Albert was an avid sports fan; he absolutely loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. When they were not playing on TV, he would watch any kind of sport he could find, whether it be curling, golf, tennis or basketball.

Albert also loved to play games; he enjoyed board games, playing dice, crib and cards, while enjoying a coldie.

Family and friends will gather
at Anishinaabemowin Gamig, 146 Spring Bay Rd., M'Chigeeng on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 
from 3:00PM.

Funeral Service
will follow at Immaculate Conception Church
on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11:00AM.
Burial to follow in the 
M'Chigeeng First Nation Cemetery.
