Somayah, Lily-Marie and Sabina.
Predeceased by Grandparents Alex and Blanche Jacko-ba and Bon and Margaret Wassengeso (George)-ba.
Godson to Jose Garcia, Luke Pheasant and Marilyn Jacko
Loved dearly by many aunts, uncles,
cousins and extended family members
Special nephew of the Powwow and Drum Circles
Raised in Wikwemikong and Sudbury, Gabe would prepare his camp lot, helping his  dad, and his Uncle Terrence with bush work. He loved gaming and playing crib with whoever was up for a challenge. He enjoyed late night/early morning karaoke singing at the top of his lungs and had the smoothest dance moves. Gabe also loved receiving packages in the mail from Amazon, reading many books, Pepsi, spending time with his brothers and attending many family gatherings/feasts.

Gabe is fondly remembered by his childhood friends as being the smartest, very kind, so polite and a funny guy. Gabe is so loved by his family and he taught us all to be compassionate and understanding in mental wellness. Gabe had a private and quiet demeanour but also an incredible sense of humour with his one liners and dad jokes. He has left us with cherished memories and will live in our hearts forever.

Although we will mourn our son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, it is with immense gratitude to the Community Volunteers, Wiikwemkoong Chief and Council, Band Administration Staff, Crisis Response Team, Communities afar, Wikwemikong Tribal Police, OPP, the ERT Team and K9 Unit in bringing Gabe home.

Traditional Funeral begins
Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 1:00pm

at Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery
