born August 26, 1977, passed away on March 20, 2025.

It is with great sadness that the family of Adam William Shawana (49) announces his calling to the Western door. Adam (aka Adam Bomb, Bomber, Tum-Tum) was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, son, brother and friend. 

Beloved father of Asia Shawana-Manitowabi and Autumn Shawana-Pitawanakwat.

Devoted grandfather of Legacy and Octavia Manitowabi. 

Godfather of Dillon Ominika, Patricia Slee and Matthew Slee. 

Adam is survived by parents, Adam Sr. and Donna Shawana,
sister Rose Slee (Adam),
niece Patricia Slee,
nephew Matthew Slee
and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Grandparents Ernie and Irene Spraggett, Mary Jane (Big bird) and William Shawana (all predeceased).

Long time friend of Stephanie Dubè (John) 

Adam was a free spirit who lived his life how he wanted and took joy in being with family and friends.
He loved hockey and, after dragging the coach home to help convince his mother, he played for most of his youth.
Shamrocks, Lakers, AAA Nickle Capitals, etc.. 
He was an Iron & Concrete worker from the years 2000-2012 with Landmark Construction and helped built multiple water towers, Wiky's included. Adam had started to reconnect to his Anishinabek roots and enjoyed playing his hand drum whenever he had the chance. His dream was to some day have a business degree to live on and run a hobby farm with his daughters, grandkids and parents with some Clydesdale horses to pull wagons and sleds. He was always optimistic on life & down to do anything that was for his friends or family. 
Going on hunting and fishing trips was one of his many favorite things to do with his father and his friends.
He also had a great passion for his collection of hats, he would put them on the top boarder of his bedroom all the way around to show them off. 
 If you ever seen "Bomber", he would always find a way to make you laugh no matter any circumstance.
