First of all I would like to express my sympathies to the family of Ron on behalf of myself, my family and that of Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation community.

Over the years, I had the privledge of working with Ron as he traveled to our communities to share his traditional knowledge/experience/medicine with those who sought to lead a healthier life.  For this I am forever grateful in knowing Ron and the generosity that he shared with each and everyone that he come into contact with.  I am also saddened to know that this highly regarded man has left this world and that the anishnabe communities will also be at a loss as Ron''s sharing of his vast knowledge will be deeply missed.

I will forever cherish the teachings/wisdom that I had the privledge of receiving from Ron.  Again, my condolences to the family and anishnabe community on the loss of their loved one.

I will never forget the anishnaabe teachings Ron had shared. He was a very caring, kind, and giving anishnaabe ninii shkaabwewis. I felt a deep sense of loss for our community, our nation, and for his beloved family. The knowledge he carried and shared on mishkikii will live on in the countless lives of those he touched. My love and prayers of thanks go out to his family and community. Miigwetch, Kathy MacLeod-Beaver

Speechless love, prayers, and respect for dearest Ronnie''s new and powerful spiritual journeying, and, for his many dear loved ones.  I weep for your heartache and I weep for the everlasting gift of having crossed Ronnie''s path as my healer and later my teacher and boss!  I had the life altering honor of being led by vision to Ronnie as a young nurse and was invited back by him years later to serve in the Medicine Lodge under his wing.  I look heartfully forward to visiting Wiky when home in Petoskey and paying my respects to the place enobled by his life and footsteps.  Loving sentiments, Lisa

Ron played an enormous part in my healing and growth as an Anishnawbe woman.
I treasure my Spirit name, as does my daughter. We received them at Anishnawbe Health in Toronto in 1994.
He helped us in so many ways...Hope to see you in the Spirit World
Brother Ron.
