To the entire Ferguson family:
I was very sad to hear of Orma's passing.  She was a wonderful lady, I visited with her often when I lived next door in Tom's trailer.  Being a new mother I called her for advice more times than I can count, always in a panic of course LOL.  Orma was always very calm and talked me through my baby crisis.  Thanks to her, I learned that children are tougher and more resilient than we give them credit for.  She also helped me with my knitting.  She was an amazing woman.  RIP  Orma, you will be missed!

My sincere condolences to the Ferguson Family. Lots of memories of Orma, the first being she was my hospital roommate back in 1967-68 prior to the birth of my first born. Always laughed when we talked about those days and the special gum she gave me to get things started so to speak. Had lots of great visits with her at the Manor  prior to Covid days. May all your special memories help you now and in the days ahead.

My most sincere condolences to the entire Ferguson Family.
Orma was a wonderful friend, mentor and Mother figure to me. We teased each other, laughed hard and simply enjoyed our time together. She often talked about her family with such pride and sheer Love. She would Love  the beautiful obituary written for her. You have made her proud again! Orma also spoke of seeing Russ again and all the members of your beautiful family who left this earth too soon. Let’s hope she can bake for them too!
I will miss her greatly.
May your many memories help you through this enormously difficult time.
R.I.P. dear Orma
❤️ Susan Allan

Thinking of you all at this sorrowful time. She lived a great life and I will never forget all of the laughter and fun I had whenever I was with a Orma. Whether it was cooking, playing cards, etc. Ormas Card money jar never went empty. She will always be remembered by me. Love to you all.

To all the family our sincere condolences. Orma was very supportive and a cheerful guide to me in the first years of working the store in McGregor Bay. She shrewdly managed Ferguson Marine with Russ for so many years and I developed a keen respect for her as well as saw her as a female role model in a male dominated business.

To all the family of Orma, I send my deepest condolences on her passing but I know she was prepared for a long time to go home. She was a wise and funny woman and I enjoyed many a good laugh at the antics of the world, when I worked at the Manor and would stop by her room for a chat. She knew so much about the Island folk and was a constant source of information, she will be missed by all who knew her but she is finally back with the love of her life. May she rest in peace.
