I have known Pat all my life,
I have happy memories of her snack bar and the delicious hamburgers after the Saturday night dances.
Pat was a vital part of Tehkummah, especially, but to the whole island community and beyond.
I will miss asking her about old families and events, that many others have forgotten.
Our sympathy to Sherry, David, Kim ,Kathy, Derreck and Jodie, also to all her grandkids, great grands and sisters and husbands.
I'm sure she and grandma Jean are making music once more.

Brenda and David

Pat, sadly missed along life's way,
quietly remembered every day...
No longer in our life to share,
but in our hearts, you're always there.
Our sincere sympathy

Thank you all for sharing Pat with us over the years, through her column and at the Tehkummah market- where we had a visit last summer.  I really didn't know her all that well, but reading her news every week was a good way to connect with "home".  Pat was a real gift from God and we thank God for her life. I hope that someone will keep on writing the Tehkummah news, writing poems, songs, prayers and keeping us Haweaters in the loop.

I will miss my summer road trips with my delightful companion, whether it was a chanced-upon encounter with a flock of butterflies, or watching the concrete being poured for the foundation of her son's new house. I told her her writings reminded me of Steven Leacock's "Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town." We exchanged cards every week during the pandemic. When we ran short of friendship cards, with great hilarity, we took to doctoring sympathy cards, birthday cards, whatever. When even those ran out, Pat made her own by cutting witty sayings and cartoons from magazines and tying them together with ribbon. We always signed them "The Other Pat." Go with God, my treasured friend.

Our sincere sympathy to Pat's family in this time of loss. We first met Pat when we moved to Manitoulin in 1988 and she delivered our mail. She was always so kind & welcoming, full of information about Manitoulin for us newcomers, with time for little visits and many laughs. She was the friendly heart & soul of Tehkummah, and she will certainly be missed & remembered. May many good memories be of real comfort to her family & loved ones in the weeks ahead.

We are very saddened by the loss of our beautiful Pat Hall, one of the patriarch of our Town of Tehkummah.  A wonderful volunteer, a great mother, fabulous grandmother and a kind and thoughtful lady.  She wrote cards to many, she spread seeds of joy around our community, she was at the door for all our community functions and was someone who attracted people to her through her friendliness and by including and making everyone feel welcome.  We will miss her dearly, our condolences to Sherry, Derek and Kim and siblings as well as all the family she so cherished.  May she rest in peace!

To all of Pat’s family and friends: Our sincere sympathy.  Pat was an amazing woman, loving, caring and so kind.  During my 15 months of ministry in Tekkumah I got to know Pat well. Always there to help and encourage, many after Church lunches at the restaurant and many lunches at her home in the winter months when no restaurants were open.  Loved her sense of humour. Bill also enjoyed Pat during his work on the Island.  May the love, peace and comfort of God and others surround you during this sad time.
